One of the most effective ways of casting an instant wish spell is to use an incantation. You can write one of your own for a very specific wish or you can use something more general and add your specific wish, what it is exactly that you want to happen at the end of the incantation.
One of the most surprising incantations is something you may recognize easily or have learned in school.
Starlight, star bright,
The first star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight

This incantation is taught to many of us a nursery rhyme, or as lyrics in a song but in fact, this originates in ancient times when people wished upon shooting stars. This was considered to be a magical time and the stars carried power down to earth and brought wishes to life.
If you happen to catch a shooting star and you are quick enough to recite this incantation you could not catch a more powerful moment to send your wish into the sky, the stars catch your wishes as they speed across the universe.
Love Incantation
If your intention is to draw love into your life, our coven has more specific guides and rituals for love spells and love potions.
One of my favorite incantations is something I use every week and it is a spell to help love along, it is a spell I use to have the love in my life increased. You can insert your desire at the end of the incantation and this way the wish is made especially for you.
I add a few simple ingredients to help this incantation along.
You Will Need
3 Drops Ginger oil
3 Drops Jasmine oil
A Red Candle
Preparing The Ritual
Ginger adds fire energy and speed to any spell, if you can get the oil this is quicker, if not 3 teaspoons of ground ginger will serve you well.
Jasmine oil is worth using to increase the attraction around love and warmth, you can use jasmine flowers, I grow them for this spell alone.
Using a red candle as the symbol of love and passion brings a little special heat to all instant spells.
Casting The Spell
- Light your candle outside under the moon
- Add ginger and Jasmine to the earth around the candle
- Now ask for your wish with this incantation
Bring me love
Bring me light
Keep me ever in their sight

There is no limit to the number of times that you use this spell in the day but remember to top up your magical energies and replenish your spirit when you want wish spells that work quickly.
Wish Spells With Herbs
To make your rituals carry a bit more weight and work better it is always useful to add the use of witches herbs. Many of these you will have in your kitchen already and many can be gathered free from hedgerows planted by witches as a shared larder.
These spells are given a boost when you use a range of powerful herbs such as:
- Sage
- Basil
- Bay
- Hawthorn Berries
- Rosemary
- Lavender
- Juniper
- Ginger
All of these add some power to your wish spells and it can depend on what you wish for what you might choose to use. I always use sage as a cleansing herb and a fresh start for instance.
Usually, in any combination of spices when i want my spell to work quickly, I will add ginger. The ginger spices it up and brings urgency to my spell.
One fabulous way to use ginger is to keep a bit of the fresh root in your hand as you make any magic wish, no matter what you wish for, if your pagan power is strong, ginger will speed your wish to come true.
Spells With Water
It is no coincidence that we are used to throwing coins into fountains to bring our wishes true. Water is a natural carrier for wishes and a powerful tool for a witch when they want the spell to flow quickly and cleanly.
You Will Need
- Water in a jar
- 3 Drops of Ginger or 3 Teaspoons ground Ginger
- 3 Drops of Neroli oil
- A coin
Preparing The Ritual
Leave the water out overnight under the moon. This will absorb the energy of the moon, this is particularly potent in a new moon and full moon.
Cleanse the coin in this moon water
Casting The Spell
- State your wish
- Drop a coin into the water
- Drop the oils into the moon water
- Pour the jar of water onto the earth
This spell will work really well when your spirit is strong and is poured out into the moon water as you carry out this wish spell.
Making Your Spells Stronger
Mixing These Spells
It is a good idea to use a mix of these spells given that you are in a hurry to have these wishes granted. As stated there is no limit to the number of these spells that you can use in a day however you must be comfortable that your magick is strong to use them frequently.
You can use the water spell alongside any incantation spell and you can add any of the herbs listed above to your spells.
These spells will work together really well and as it is instant results you want here, the strength of your desire to make it work quickly and the influence you will have over the spell will depend on how clear your spirit is during the spell.
Cleansing your spirit regularly after using these spells will make them work much better, In this, both sage as your cleansing herb and the cleansing spirit of the moon will be useful to use each night.
